‘Fresh Prince’ Star Alfonso Ribeiro Wins Last Toyota Pro/Celebrity Race at Long Beach Grand Prix

“Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” star Alfonso Ribeiro proved he still knows how to live life in the fast lane this past weekend when he won the final ever Toyota Pro/Celebrity Race at the Long Beach Grand Prix in California.

la-sp-long-beach-grand-prix-celebrity-race-201-001He beat out star drivers including Adam CarollaFrankie MunizBrian Austin Green and fellow “Silver Spoons” alum Ricky Schroder at the 40th annual race, which ends after this year.

The “America’s Funniest Home Videos” host, who is also a past “Dancing With the Stars” champion, was the celebrity winner in 1994 and 1995, and the Pro winner in 2015.

Ribeiro actually credited Schroder for getting him into the racing scene, telling TheWrap before the race: “I came here with him, hung out during the practice and had a blast … I fell in love with it. Several years later they asked me to do it and there was no way I was going to say no.

“In these cars, we get up to 120 mph, but in my real professional driving, I’ve reached 190,” he revealed. “It’s good fun!”

Stephen Baldwin, Al Unser, Jr. to Compete in Toyota Pro/Celebrity Race

Stephen Baldwin and Adam Carolla are among the Hollywood gearheads joining professional race drivers like two-time Indy 500 champion Al Unser, Jr. in the 40th Toyota Pro/Celebrity race, set to be held April 16 on the streets of downtown Long Beach, Calif.

Baldwin, Carolla and other returning celebrity drivers, including Brian Austin Green, Alfonso Ribeiro and Olympic medalist Dara Torres, the first woman to win the race, were chosen to compete with pro drivers who had won in previous years.

The contestants will all drive 210 hp Scion FR-S cars upgraded to racing specs on the 1.97-mile street course. The race benefits the Racing for Kids charitable organization that supports children’s hospitals in the U.S.

This will be the final year for the pro-am race, which is held in conjunction with the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach, the world’s second-oldest grand prix.

‘MAMMA MIA!’ KERRY SANDERS TAKES A RIDE WITH MARIO ANDRETTI

In honor of this weekend’s Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach, racing legend Mario Andretti took NBC’s Kerry Sanders on the ride of his life.tdy_sanders_andretti2_150419.today-front-large

75-year-old Andretti brought Sanders on two laps around the track, reaching speeds up to 170 mph.

Sanders also spent time in the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach Pro/Celebrity compound chatting with actors Alfonso Ribiero and Donna Feldman and Olympic swimmer Dara Torres.

The Today Show broadcasted live from Graham Rahal’s Steak N’ Shake compound on Sunday morning before the Verizon IndyCar race.

ACTRESS TRICIA HELFER, ACTOR ROBERT PATRICK DISCUSS TOYOTA GRAND PRIX OF LONG BEACH PRO/CELEBRITY RACE

Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach Pro/Celebrity race participants, Tricia Helfer and Robert Patrick visited the KCAL 9 studio in Studio City to talk7481215_G about their experience in Long Beach’s biggest event of the year.

Heller was participating in her second Pro/Celebrity race, while Patrick was participating in his first.

This was the 39th running of the Pro/Celebrity race.
